Lisa's Story
My love for beads began twenty years ago, when I bought my very first Trollbeads bracelet. I remember being captivated by it. Each bead felt like a tiny piece of art with its own personality and meaning. Before long I realized that these beads were more than jewelry, they’re a way to tell a story and I understood what Trollbeads meant “every story has a bead.”
Not long after starting my own bracelet, I knew I wanted to share that same experience with others. Helping someone find a bead that represents a special moment, memory, or passion is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do at Brown Dog.
When I first began offering Trollbeads, we started with a small silver collection. It did not take long before we added gold beads and expanded the collection as more people discovered these special beads. Today Brown Dog Boutique carries a wide variety of Trollbeads products including bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings, spacers, locks and custom designed bracelets.
Over the years there have been many personal favorites; Skelton necklace, Harper’s Bazaar bracelet, the anniversary bracelet, Chinese jade and silver, gold beads and special event products.
We now have additional lines of wonderful beads including Black Raven Beads, Charms of Aloha and Red Bali Frog. The special thing about all of these products is that there is no right or wrong way to design your bracelet. Every bracelet becomes a reflection of the person wearing it, and the memories they choose to capture along the way.
Whether you visit us in person or shop with us online, our goal is always the same to make every customer feel welcome and enjoy the experience of choosing pieces that truly speak to them.
Several times each year we host a special online and in store events. Each event offers rare and special beads at attractive prices. Customers can make an appointment to view the beads in real time. I especially enjoy these events as I can spend time with our customers one to one.
